Screw processing steps
The process of screw manufacturing includes: coil element - annealing - Pickling - cold heading - wire

rubbing - heat treatment - electroplating - packaging.

1. Disc element: it is made of steel embryo by heating and rolling. Pan Yuan was made from wool

embryo after rolling.

2. Annealing: heat the material to a certain temperature and keep it for a certain time, and then cool

it to adjust the crystalline structure, reduce the hardness and improve the room temperature

workability of the wire rod.

3. Pickling: the method of removing iron oxide (rust) on the steel surface with acid solution is

called pickling. Is a method of cleaning metal surfaces. It is usually carried out together with pre

membrane.

4. Cold pier: cut the wire rod, form the pier into screw embryo, form the head, make other head

types such as cross groove, thread embryo diameter and rod length, fillet under the head, etc.

Advantages of cold pier: cold pier can be metal parts, and the mechanical properties can be improved.
Cold pier technology can improve material utilization.

Cold pier process can greatly improve productivity.
Due to the use of multi station cold heading machine, each process is processed simultaneously on

one machine tool, so as to reduce equipment investment, reduce the raw space occupied by the

equipment, reduce the transportation of semi-finished products between various processes,

especially reduce the labor intensity of workers and improve the working conditions.

Cold pier technology can improve the surface finish of products and ensure the accuracy of products.
Requirements for raw materials for cold pier: firstly, it is required to have high plasticity and low

hardness. For steel, the surface hardness is generally 78-85hrb;

Secondly, the surface quality requirements are very high, and surface defects such as scratches,

hemp spots and rust are not allowed;

Finally, the requirement of dimensional accuracy should also be high;
5. Thread rolling: the processing method of rolling the blank into a spiral groove when the two

washboards move relative to each other. This process replaces the original turning process, which

not only saves materials, reduces production costs, but also reduces labor costs.

6. Heat treatment: strengthen the strength, hardness and toughness of screws. After ordinary screws

are buckled into screws by the screwing machine, there are profits left in the screws, and the threads

tend to look into the screws. After quenching and tempering or quenching, the internal quality of the

screws can be effectively improved.

7. Electroplating: electroplating is the process of plating a thin layer of other metals or alloys on some

metal surfaces based on the principle of electrolysis. It is a process of attaching a metal film to the

surface of metal or other material parts by point solution, so as to prevent metal oxidation, improve

wear resistance, conductivity, reflection, corrosion resistance and beauty, The outer layer of the coin is

formed after electroplating.
